Sometimes, you just have to do it. As of 12:01 AM this morning, I am a self employed small business owner – a full freelance photographer, videographer & editor – and I couldn’t be more excited to get back out in the field to do what I love the most. To kick things off, for the next 365 days, I’m doing a ‪#‎YesYear‬ - which is exactly what it sounds like. As long as I’m growing, learning, shooting, expanding my mind & being creative, any & all opportunities that come my way. The way I see it, my work is not “work.” What moves me is the act of creative collaboration with other like-minded, driven, passionate individuals who seek to produce stunning, cinematic visuals for clients worldwide. The era of the lone wolf, individualistic creative is dead. And what is fun without a team to share it with, anyway? After nearly a decade of witnessing history as a visual storyteller, my work ethic speaks something like this: strive for greatness, create brilliance and don’t be a dick while living life to the fullest. After all: nobody likes to work with mean people, because mean people suck.
